A multi-instrumentalist with a sharp writing style, Samuele deposits intimate and engaged poetry on a folk-rock sound with a strong blues background. Comfortable on stage as a plant in the sun, Samuele performs on Montreal's underground bar stages before the legal age to do so. Alone on guitar, accompanied by musical accomplices or, constrained by austerity, as a woman band, Samuele delivers a disarming show of honesty, mixing songs and spoken word.
With the album Les filles sages vont au paradis les autres vont où elles veulent Samuele is deserving of two ADISQ 2017 nominations for alternative album and revelation of the year. The album is also selected as Coup de Coeur chanson by the Académie Charles Cros.
